The Van Cafe exhaust heat shield for Subaru conversions provides a mounting plate for our exhaust system and protects your drive belts and plastic timing cover from excess heat.  Our unique system of standoffs effectively secures your muffler to your engine by using the factory timing cover locations. 

Fits 2.2L (EJ22) and 2.5L (EJ25) SOHC motors.

The torque specs on the standoffs of our heat shield kit are extremely important as overtorquing will cause premature failure. Please follow installation instructions precisely when installing the shield.

You must use a torque wrench on this installation.
