Does your van follow the ruts in the highway?  Do you hear a clunk when going over a bump?  Fix that wandering feeling  with our brand new lower ball joint.

Fits all 1980-1991 T3 Vanagon models, including 2WD, Syncro, Doka, Sinka, etc.

Fitment note for Syncro owners: These joints are sometimes slightly longer (a few threads) than original.  We have had reports that, when used on a Syncro model with original 14" alloy wheels, the threads may scrape the rim. If there is at least 1/8" of extra metal beyond the threads after installation, we recommend grinding a portion of this area away on some models with 14" alloys to improve clearance. W

NOTE - We have found variance in the diameter of the ball joint (not the important splined area that is pressed into the lower control arm but above that area). If the diameter of the head is larger than the opening of the hole, file or grind it down enough so that it slides in easily.

Sold individually.
