Now made in cast aluminum by Rocky Mountain Westy. This adapter fits 2wd watercooled vans only. It is the same adapter that is available as an extra option for our Fuel Line Replacement Kit.

We highly recommend replacing your stock 30+-year-old brittle plastic firewall adapter with this upgrade. We have heard that some people are removing their firewall adapter altogether and running a longer rubber hose through the firewall, with or without a rubber grommet to hold the hose in place. We don't recommend going this route because the engine's vibration is bound to cause the rubber grommet, and then the rubber hose, to deteriorate over time as it hits the side of the firewall. This permanent aluminum upgrade will also allow you to more efficiently service the vehicle by unclamping the hoses on each side, rather than having one long hose in the same place.

This part is NOT found on Syncro 4WD Vans or Aircooled Vans.
