This is the easiest of the automatic transmission leaks to fix.

This o-ring is a common leak that is often misdiagnosed as a pan gasket. When it fails, transmissoin fluid drips around the perimeter of the pan making it look as though the pan is the culprit. Closer inspection often shows that the fluid is leaking from this seal.
