This is the same size as the shorter of the two bump stops that used to be available from Volkswagen. The part number was 251 411 123B. It was 82mm in height and was used in vans that rode lower than normal(Carat).

The longer version, part number 251 411 123E was 88mm and was used in every other model Vanagon.

Both the factory short and long bump stops have not been available in a long time. You can use this short bump stop in the long application because having any bump stop is way better than having a disintegrated one!

Please note that this bump stop will have a very tight fit with the strut dust cover and the front shock collar will not be knurled like the factory front shock collar .

This bump stop will fit all models 80-91 and when you order this kit you will get two bump stops.
