This switch can work for any window, driver or passenger. Once you remove bad switch remove the wiring harness and solder the wiring to this new unit and you're ready to go. You will notice that these switches now come with six pins instead of 5 like the original Vanagon switch. The extra pin is used to illuminate the switch The upside with these is you save lots of money. These have been very reliable.
